Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda Method
Make a solution of 1 tablespoon or less of baking soda per 1 cup of warm water and make sure you mix it until it’s dissolved.
Use the solution over all of your hair and gently massage it into your scalp and the length of your hair. It should feel kind-of slippery. Rinse it out well.
Every single time you do a baking soda wash, follow your wash with a solution of 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar per 1 cup of water. Dump the cup over your head slowly and massage it in with your other hand. You want this to hit all of your scalp and hair. Do not rinse this out.
The ACV method has great potential and works well for many people. However, there are a few things you want to avoid:
- Avoid using the ACV more than once every 4 days.
- You shouldn’t apply baking soda dry or make a paste.
- Avoid making a 50/50 mix with apple cider vinegar. Stick to one to two tablespoons per cup.
